Driver cut free in three car crash

A taxi driver had to be extricated by Amanzimtoti fire department after a collision between two vehicles on Kingsway on Friday afternoon, 5 February.

Reports indicate a VW Tiguan was turning right into Inyoni Cresent after travelling north on Kingsway and an Isuzu bakkie clipped its right rear bumper, before crashing into an oncoming Kombi.

The Tiguan driver escaped injury and the man and woman in the bakkie sustained minor injuries.

The taxi driver suffered several fractures.
