Amanzimtoti business forum hosts diving talk

Recent reports of divers drifting off during their visit to the world-renowned Aliwal Shoal off Umkomaas on the Sapphire Coast necessitated organised business to question the safety aspects associated with what is essentially expected to be a well regulated industry.

Recently a foreign national lost his life in a related incident.

It is against this background that Durban South Business Forum (DSBF) hosts renowned master diver and renowed underwater photographer, Jasper Brüyns, who has 39 years of diving experience, for a discussion.

The discussion will include safety dive, safety compliance, best safety practices systems and best quality practices.

It takes place on Monday, 29 May at the AMCUP premises in Illovo Beach at 6.30pm for 7pm.

Entry is free of charge and open to all interested parties, however dinner will be served at a cost of R 80 per person and soft drinks will be on sale (strictly no alcohol).

RSVP by noon on Friday, 26 May via email to carine@dsbf.co.za.
