RECIPE: Fried honey banana dessert will leave a lasting impression

Whoever said sugar and oil don’t mix was so wrong. Try this honey fried banana for a dessert and you will be blown away.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops of ice cream (personal preference)
  • 1 T unsalted butter
  • 4 vertically sliced bananas
  • 4 t of honey
  • Coconut oil/ olive oil
  • Cinnamon

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat
  2. Place banana slices in a pan and fry them for  3 minutes
  3. Mix together honey and 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
  4. Remove the pan from heat and drizzle butter and honey mixture over the fried bananas
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon or coconut
  6. Serve cold or hot  with ice cream of your choice
