GOOD NEWS: Orange bag recycling set to resume

eThekwini Municipality’s Cleansing and Solid Waste Unit confirmed that the problem at the recycling plant has been repaired.

They plan to be fully operational and ready to resume the collection of orange recycling bags by Monday, 6 November.

The kerbside recycling programme, known as the orange recycling bag programme, was temporarily closed due to flood damage to DSW’s recycling partner, MPACT’s plant.
