Live drawing demo for USCAA artists

THE Upper South Coast Art Association (USCAA) holds its November meeting in the activities hall of Amanzimtoti library on Saturday, 18 November.

The meeting will begin at 1.30pm and end at about 4pm. Refreshments will be supplied for a small fee.

The demo this month will be given by Kay Smart and her focus will be on live drawing. This is a very good opportunity to learn how to capture the essence of the subject with maximum impact. Take along a sketch book and pencil, as artists will participate in the lesson.

The afternoon meeting will be preceded by a drawing session which will be given by Jean Taylor on the subject of sea shells. The session will begin at 9am and end at about noon. The usual drawing equipment should be taken along – pencils, paper and three colours red, yellow and blue if desired.
