Refresh yourselfwith infused water

The reason why not many people like to drink water is because it’s tasteless and boring. We know that it’s part of our natural survival as it keeps the body healthy and hydrated.

To make your water drinking fun and tasty, why not add some fruit or spice.

Infused water is a great solution for people who don’t like water but need to drink it. It can be made with any fruit or herb found in your house.

It’s also much healthier than juice, which is packed with sugar. With just adding fruit, you are using the natural sugars and nutrients that is has to offer.

Orange and blueberry infused water

  • 6 cups of water
  • 2 mandarin oranges, cut into wedges
  • a handful of blueberries
  • ice
  1. Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and leave it in the fridge for 2-24 hours to allow the water to infuse.
  2. You can also squeeze in the juice of one mandarin orange and muddle the blueberries to intensify flavor a bit.
  3. Serve cold.

Everybody knows that watermelon is made up of 80 per cent water so why not add it to your water. It will quench your thirst faster and you will still get all the goodness of the fruit.

Watermelon and mint water:

  1. A jug of water
  2. Half a water melon to cut into pieces ( as many as you want)
  3. Ice
  4. A handful of mint leaves

Add desired fruits to a pitcher and then fill with water. Allow fruit to soak for 2-8 hours in the fridge and then enjoy! You can add as much or as little fruit as you’d prefer. Add more fruit for more flavour and sweetness for your waters.

The fun thing about this, is you can come up with your own flavours for your infused water. There are no rules.
