Holidaymakers robbed at gunpoint in Winklespruit

The Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) reported that four men in a white Hyundai i20 robbed two holidaymakers at gunpoint outside the Boardwalk complex in Camp Road, Winklespruit on Thursday, 4 January.

In a separate incident the previous day, an attempted hijacking occurred in Whitfield Drive. Three armed men fled after being interrupted and a Opel Corsa bakkie picked them up at the corner of Colonel Poulton and Tecoma roads.
