There was drama at Warner Beach when a tractor capsized when retrieving a boat from the sea on Saturday afternoon, 14 April.

An Amanzimtoti commodore sustained minor injuries when a 4×4 tractor capsized during a fishing competition at Warnadoone Ski-Boat Club on Saturday afternoon, 14 April.

Commodore Glen Jansen (58) was retrieving a boat from the sea at about 4pm when the roof of the tractor collapsed and fell on him. When he jumped off, vice-commodore Anton van den Berg (46) ran to hit the kill switch.
