RECIPE: Gluten-free flourless chocolate cake

Being gluten intolerant can be such a pain especially when you have to watch everybody eat chocolate cake at the office party and you can’t even have a slice because of the flour used.

But thanks to baker and blogger, Gemma Stafford, a flourless chocolate cake exists.

You will need:

  • 1⅓ cup bittersweet chocolate (72%)
  • 2 sticks (225g) butter
  • 1 ¼ cups  sugar
  • 6 large room temperature eggs, separated
  • 1 cup  cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ganache:
  • 1⅓ cup (225g) bittersweet chocolate (72%)
  • 1 cup ( cream
