No 24 hour waiting period to report a missing person – Amanzimtoti SAPS

AMANZIMTOTI SAPS confirms there is no waiting period to report a missing person, irrespective of the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.

Captain Charlene van der Spuy dispelled the myth that there is a 24 hour waiting period before one reports someone’s disappearance.

As soon as a loved one is discovered missing, a missing persons report should be completed at your nearest police station.
