AMANZIMTOTI SPCA bade a sad farewell to one of its longstanding staffers, Pam Slater on Wednesday, 1 August as she begins her retirement.

The kennel supervisor played a crucial role at the shelter for some 15 years.

“Over 15 years, Pam has cared for, treated and fed thousands of animals at our SPCA,” said manager, Tracey Girling. “The shelter and its staff wish Pam all the very best on her retirement.”

The devoted animal carer will now be able to spend much golden time with her family and grandchildren.

On behalf of the local SPCA, Tracey thanked Pam for all her hard work, time invested and dedication to animal welfare.

“The Toti SPCA’s animals, staff, committee, and especially our yard cat Ella, will miss you every day. We wish you all the best and much happiness,” she said.
