Have you ever smelled your dog’s paws? Do they smell of Fritos, those delicious beef flavoured corn chips?
Well, you are not alone. All dog paws have that distinctive chip smell that might confuse your brain into almost wanting to bite into them.
According to www.thedodo.com the smell of your pooch’s paws are common and natural. It is caused by particular bacteria called Proteus or Pseudomonas that emanate from their paws and give off a yeasty, snacky smell.
But if the smell is too strong it’s best to visit the vet for an infection check. In the meantime, try not to bite your puppy’s paws – no matter how yummy they smell.
