It’s springtime and we are moving into a warmer climate, so we have to prepare ourselves for our beloved African sun.

Learn the signs your body gives off when it feels too hot and protect your family from heat stroke, fainting and sun burn.

Signs that your body is too hot: 

Early symptoms of both heat exhaustion and heat stroke including a tingling sensation in the skin and goosebumps. Go indoors immediately.

Heat-related headaches can range from dull to throbbing — This is a sign of a heat stroke.

If you’re overcome with exhaustion and your body feels weak. As well as feeling confused and agitated

Nausea is a red flag that you’re experiencing heat exhaustion — but if it’s accompanied by vomiting, that’s a sign of heat stroke.

A change in heart rate is a sign that your body is dangerously overheating.
