Celebrating Earth Hour

THE world will celebrate Earth Hour on Saturday, 29 March from 8.30pm to 9.30pm by switching off all non-essential electricity.

Last year millions of people celebrated the annual event. Below are just a few of the photos shared on www.earthhour.org.

How will you celebrate Earth Hour this year? Do you have any traditions for the event, or will you be participating for the first time? Tell us about it in the comment section below.

Email photos or videos of you, your family and friends to [email protected], as you switch off for 60 minutes in honour of Earth Hour.
