Midweek tennis leagues prepare for first fixtures

THERE was another full house of social tennis players at Amanzimtoti Tennis Club on Saturday.

Once again the club welcomed visitors from the Lower South Coast.

Midweek league teams will be confirmed this week and the first fixtures on Wednesday, 19 April are first team at home against Glenashley 1 and the 2nd team travelling to Westville to play Chiltern 1.

For the duration of the midweek league, there will be two courts available for social players. Friday social players are asked to note there will be no tennis on Good Friday, 14 April. Saturday, 15 April will be the usual Saturday afternoon social time.

The club’s development clinic for primary school children is now in recess for the Easter School holidays. Coaching will resume on Saturday, 22 April. The Easter junior tournament held last week was a great success. A big thank you to all involved with organising the two day sessions.
